Artist's Comments

Because our desire for freedom makes us do things
that make so much sense
to us
and so little
to others.

So little
to him.

And I'm quite small.

Grazie tesoro.

Alle volte dobbiamo partire
e ritornare.

I think that sometimes
I need to leave
only for the pleasure of coming back.

Completely surreal. What did you do to it? And when did you take it?

For the rest, no words. It looks like we might be thinking along the same lines, if you ask me.

"Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.
And how else can it be?
The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain. " - Kahlil Gibran

Actually, very little. The light was fantastic when I took this picture, I think at the beginning of january.
I saw the light shining through my window, and I just had to go outside with my camera. Hadn't done that for over a year!
Because of the snow, I had to walk, and it didn't go fast.. and I feared the light would disappear..
So I decided to stay very close to home, and shoot pictures in the neighbourhood.

I changed the colours in this, and put a texture over it. But I felt bad manipulating it, because perhaps the original is more beautiful.
It is so pure it seems almost impossible to be true.

We are probably thinking very similar thoughts.
It is the hardest to let love go.
